Here's what to expect from Marvel Rivals Season 6.

Marvel Rivals players are preparing for a new influx of content to sink their teeth into with the launch of Season 6 right around the corner.

The latest season is set to bring a couple of new heroes, a new map, plus the usual shake-up to the game’s meta. Following what much of the game’s community consider to be a lacking Season 5, the latest content addition looks set to bring some spark back to the Overwatch 2 rival.

When does Marvel Rivals Season 6 start?

Marvel Rivals Season 6 is set to begin on January 16, 2026 . Judging from previous seasons, we expect the new content to go live at around 10am GMT, just in time for a few cheeky lunchtime matches.

NetEase has confirmed that Season 6 will run for two months until March 20th, giving players plenty of time to get to grips with the new additions.

While there’s no confirmed date for it just yet, we’ll no doubt see a mid-season refresh too. NetEase likes to shake things up on a regular basis with Marvel Rivals, so expect a Season 6.5 update at some point in February.

Marvel Rivals Season 6 hero additions

As for which new heroes you’ll get to play as in Season 6, Deadpool and Elsa Bloodstone are next in line to be added to the game.

Marvel’s ‘merc with a mouth’ is already set to be a fan favourite thanks to his extreme profanity with trailers already showing off his ‘eccentric’ personality. We’re not quite sure which role he’s set to take on, but we’d expect his gear to fit right in as a Duelist.

Deadpool will be available on January 16, but Else Bloodstone is coming later in the season as part of the mid-season refresh. Little is known about her kit and role just now, so we’ll have to wait a little while longer to learn more on that front.

In terms of other content, we can also likely expect a new map to be added to Marvel Rivals. Season 6 is dubbed ‘Night at the Museum’ with the animated trailer showing Deadpool face off against a T-Rex that comes to life.

This suggests that we’ll be battling it out on a new map themed around some sort of museum - perhaps one owned by Marvel’s ‘The Collector’ character?
