New Jersey is hosting a variety of celebrations in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month across the state. Here are a few to check out:

“El Festival” in Wildwood

Tuesday, Sept. 16, 3 to 8 p.m.

Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Ave., Wildwood

A free festival featuring a live band and DJ, vendors, Hispanic cuisine, and family-friendly activities.

Frida Kahlo’s World

Thursday, Sept. 18, 6 p.m.

Tito Puente Jr. Salsa Night

Friday, Sept. 19, 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Westfield Garden State Plaza, Paramus

Free event: Outdoor concert will celebrate the culture, music, and legacy of Latin America through the sounds of Tito Puente Jr.’s ensemble. There will be food and drinks from the restaurants at the mall, as well as giveaways, store promos and a spin wheel.

Union Township Annual Hispanic & Latino Heritage Festival

Saturday, Sept. 20, 2 to 10 p.m.

Atlantic Cape Community College Celebrations

Sept. 15 to Oct. 15

The Cape May County campus, located at 341 Court House South, Dennis Road.

The campus will feature “Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future” in the first-floor lobby with displays, recipes, and giveaways from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. On Saturday, Oct. 11, there will be a 20th Anniversary and Hispanic Heritage Celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with salsa lessons, food trucks, and live music. National Hispanic Heritage Month
